Víctor gonzález

Víctor González holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville. He has lived and worked in Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom, where he has held exhibitions and developed various projects.

Víctor González's work intuitively explores the codes of representation in painting through the interpretation of cultural elements from his surroundings. These elements come from various origins, such as architecture, ornamental materials, or objects. His unique perspective, composed of shapes and sensations, serves as a foundation for unraveling a thread through which the painting is revealed. His compositions propose spaces and environments that are biogeometrically assembled, where the viewer's subconscious completes the pictorial image.

His work has earned scholarships and awards, such as the VIII UNIA Painting Prize from the International University of Andalusia, the Honorable Mention in the I Artistic Creation Prize from CICUS and the Seville Provincial Government, as well as artist residencies from the Antonio Gala Foundation and the XIV Encontro de Artistas Novos of the Xunta de Galicia and the Cidade da Cultura Foundation, among others.

Recently, his work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Royal Academy of London, the DiGallery in Seville, and the Unicaja Foundation in Seville, among others.
