Antonela Aiassa, a young Argentinean artist dividing her time between Barcelona and Buenos Aires, create artworks that reflect the dichotomy between these two cities. Trained in fashion design, Aiassa brings a unique perspective to her paintings and sculptures, where line and sinuous figures have always been integral elements.

Utilizing organic materials and Indian ink, she incorporates a meditative process into her pieces. Her ceramics and abstract canvases embody this fusion, capturing the tranquility of the Mediterranean and the dynamism of Buenos Aires. Employing a restricted color palette inspired by natural hues, Aiassa's ceramics pay homage to organic materials and natural forms. Each piece is meticulously crafted in clay to produce visually rich and harmonious pieces that bring nature to contemporary aesthetic narratives.

On canvas, Aiassa employs organic black lines, drawn with Indian ink and influenced by Japanese nature drawings, to portray the intricacies of nature and the simplicity of minimalism. These lines echo the pulsating energy and lively spirit of Buenos Aires while evoking the serenity and calmness found in Japanese art, serving as an abstraction of the idea of energy emanating from a visual nucleus.

Residing between two distinct environments, Aiassa's creations invite contemplation of the tranquil Mediterranean influences, the energetic pulse of Buenos Aires, and the organic subtleties of nature. Each artwork portrays both natural elements and urban energy, reflecting the transformative beauty found in minimalism, the wonders of nature, and the earth's rich palette. Through her work, Aiassa seeks to convey a sense of calmness, portraying her perception of well-being to the spectator.
